I would like to transfer settings in the Profile Manager from one group to another and make changes accordingly for the new group.
Group templates in the Server app do not include the settings from the profile manager...Odd?
Anyone know how to copy the settings?

I'm not aware of a way to do this, but have looked in the past for a solution. The attached link talks about configuring a baseline and then finely tailored settings for the new groups that are subsets of the broader groupl That is what I try to do.
But, it would still be nice to have a copy command.

Yes, I used nested groups, but it seems silly that the settings cant be transferred, especially since Profile Manger allows download of the settings into a mobile config file. It would be very useful if the file could be used to replicate settings to other groups. E.G., Custom Settings allows for the upload of preference plist files, so why not include Mobile config files.
I much prefer the functionality and integration of the old Workgroup Manager where Users, User Groups, Devices and Device Groups were all kept in one database that could be browsed and modified as needed.
